That strawberry looks so realistic. I only think you overdid the noise effect a bit, but other than that, it's great!

All teh fireflies :D

Seriously though, it's great to see you tackling some photoreal subjects. The shaders on the pikmin are really pretty. Did you use translucent/ subsurface scattering shaders for that? :D
The strawberry model is also amazing, all these details.
What's kind of strange is that the fireflies look like water droplets. Although they would be too small for actual droplets, they still give the right impression. :D

Yeah I only rendered it at 1000 samples haha, plus the lighting was a little strong xP

Yeah I've been wanting to do some photorealistic renders with Pikmin for months now, and I plan to do more, it'd be sweet to make some nature renders for a portfolio and sneak some Pikmin in there haha.

Yeah I used a subsurf scatter shader and a glossy shader, as well as a fresnel shader for both the Pikmin and the strawberry. I tried to make the Pikmin look more like a raspberry, since raspberries tend to catch more light than say apples or cherries, but still keeping the apple seed-like texture on the Pikmin.

And yeah they look kinda pretty, that's because I did some compositing to make the fireflies glow more. :D
